Strzelecki Showtime is a 100% original musical theatre show, written, directed and performed by the Scouts of the Latrobe Valley and beyond.

For 58 years we've been helping young people develop confidence and resilience, make new friends, learn new skills and have a whole lot of fun along the way.

Our 2026 Show, "O'Connor Farm", will perform at the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre in Traralgon on November 26, 27 and 28.

100 Years. 5 Generations. 1 Home.

Across one hundred years, five generations of the O’Connor family live, love, celebrate and grieve within the walls of the same family home while surviving this sunburnt country. Set against the changing backdrop of rural Australia, O’Connor Farm - 100 Years. 5 Generations. 1 Home is a heartfelt new Australian musical exploring the stories, traditions and memories passed from one generation to the next.

Written and performed by local Scouts, Strzelecki Showtime’s 58th annual performance features original script and music celebrating resilience, connection and life on the land in a family-friendly theatrical experience full of warmth, history and heart.

Cast applicants must:

Be financial members of Scouts Victoria
Be active members of their local Scout Group
Be aged 10 years or older by 1 July 2026
